Gerda: .” As a mom of 2 kids with special abilities, the whole concept of The Raw Carrot spoke deeply to me. I had spent time volunteering at the Innerkip Presbyterian Church downtown dinner (in Woodstock) and loved seeing love in action at IPC. When people come alongside one another they feel valued. We can’t make a big impact alone, but if we all do something, it really adds up!” Amberly: “I’ve always loved working with people and getting to know them personally. I have a special place in my heart for people who are marginalized, but that have so much to give when you get to know them. I’m excited to have the opportunity to empower them to be their best.  I love sharing God’s heart with others so that people know that they are important to Jesus and deeply loved”.
