We are looking for a detail oriented “get-it-done-er” who will support the growth of the Raw Carrot Headquarters; is passionate about Jesus and serving marginalized people in Ontario.

 

 

Position: Part Time: 12 – 16 hrs /week (1-year contract, with possibility of extension) flexible schedule Monday – Friday, possibly some weekend engagements

.

Location: Paris, Ontario. In-person at Paris Presbyterian Church

Overview:

The Raw Carrot Soup Enterprise is looking for a professional, detail-oriented person who understands the ministry and mission of the Raw Carrot and will support the administration and growth of the Raw Carrot headquarters with a variety of tasks including…

 

  • Coordinating soup sales and opportunities for growth
  • Invoicing
  • Coordinating internships and volunteer opportunities
  • Booking Events
  • Correspondence
  • Inventory and database management
  • Managing small projects with support
  • Sourcing supplies
  • Data collection / research
  • Developing relationships (local farms/churches) to advance the mission of the Raw Carrot
  • Grant Management
  • Administrative tasks and projects as assigned

 

Qualifications

Post-Secondary education an asset

Proven to be detail oriented and organized

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

An outward Christian faith and active involvement in a church (reference required)

Excited by relationship development (may include some cold calling with support)

Computer literacy: proficiency in word processing, excel and internet use. Experience in Publisher, Canva, Shopify, WordPress or other an asset

Willingness to learn, create or implement new systems for streamlining organization, policies and procedures

Marketing or Communications experience an asset.

 

Salary

$15.00 – $18.00/hour

As a condition of employment, the successful applicant must complete a Vulnerable Sector Screening Police Reference Check. References will be required.
